Recruit

Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Field

The goal of our laboratory is to understand the molecular pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric diseases including autism spectrum disorders (ASD). We try to find rare mutations of ASD by using human genetics, generate humanoid model cells and animals and analyze their abnormality by integrative approaches from molecular to in vivo levels.

Another project is integrative analysis of circadian rhythm. You can use all levels of assay systems from molecular to behavioral rhythms in the lab.

A new project is a dry approach by using bioinformatics, computer science and information science such as AI.

Qualification

Applicant should have a PhD, a high level of motivation and a keen interest in neuroscience. A great achievement during a PhD course in any filed is required. An excellent background in electrophysiology and/or optogenetics to decipher neural circuits is especially desirable for this recruitment.

As for circadian projects, the experience in the chronobiology is not necessarily required.
