Understand our mind

Our goal is to understand our mind by our brain. To understand higher brain functions such as cognitive function, we take an approach to study mental disorders as abnormality of mental functions. Currently our project is integrative analysis of autism spectrum disorders, developmental disorders and psychiatric disorders. We also work on circadian rhythms in which gene and behavior are linked. Furthermore, we try to combine these two different projects. The keywords in the lab are molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, cell biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, chronobiology, genetics, behavioral science, psychiatry, child neurology, information science, integrative bioscience, mental biology, systems biology, theoretical biology, psychogenetics, behavioral genetics, circuit genetics, computer science, autism, psychiatric disorders, mouse model, brain development, synapse, RNA, imprinting, clock gene, social behavior, epigenetics, optogenetics, bioinformatics, and AI.
