  研究テーマとその内容

 DNA損傷応答機構はゲノムDNAの恒常性を維持する上できわめて重要なシグナル伝達システムであり、 その破綻は変異の蓄積、さらにはがん化に密接に関わると考えられる。本研究では、核内タンパク質 キナーゼATM, Chk1, Chk2及び核内タンパク質ホスファターゼWip1に焦点を当てて、DNA損傷応答シグ ナル伝達がどのようにDNA修復、アポトーシスを制御するかを明らかにするとともに、その破綻とが ん化の関連を解明することを目的とする。
 また、我々は受容体型チロシンキナーゼRor2がWnt5aの受容体として機能し、Wnt5aによる細胞極性・ 細胞運動制御において中核的な役割を担うことを明らかにしている。最近では、Wnt5a・Ror2シグナル 伝達系の異常が、がんの浸潤・転移と密接に関わることを見出している。そこで、本研究ではWnt5a・ Ror2による細胞極性・細胞運動制御の分子機構を解明するとともに、その破綻とがんの浸潤転移との 関連を解明することを目指す。
