The 71st Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Logopedics and Phoniatrics was held on October 23–24, 2026, at the Tokyo Akasaka Campus of the International University of Health and Welfare.
Shinobu Iwaki, a speech-language-hearing therapist in the Department of Rehabilitation at Kobe University Hospital, spoke in Panel Discussion 1, "Voice Disorders in Entertainment: What to Do When Trouble Strikes?!" Specially Appointed Professor Hirotaka Shinomiya also gave a presentation on the treatment of spasmodic dysphonia.
