At the 20th Japan-Korea Joint Meeting of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (JKJM 2026), held in Sapporo from September 30 to October 2, 2026, four members of our department gave presentations.
Dr. Ryohei Mikami presented a poster, "Neck Management for Parotid Gland Cancer." Associate Professor Natsumi Uehara spoke on "Genetic Hearing Loss in Children" in Symposium 7 (Pediatrics), and Professor Takeshi Fujita spoke on "From Hearing Loss Mechanisms to Biomarkers and Therapeutic Targets in Vestibular Schwannoma" in Symposium 3 (Otology). Dr. Hakan Koca, a visiting doctor from Türkiye currently studying in our department, presented "Surgical Extent in Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps: A Systematic Review Based on Response to Medical Therapy."
