Section of Aesthetic Medical Science (Donation Lab.) (Prof. Shinya Tahara)
The section was founded for basic research in aesthetic medicine, one of the
most advanced medicines all over the world. The theory of rejuvenation is
very closely related to regenerative medicine. Our aim is to apply regenerative science to aesthetic medicine consistent with current evidence. Some questionable aesthetic services provided by so-called aestheticians without any scientific background have recently caused clinical problems. Our obligation is to study and clarify the relation between treatments and complications.

Division of Disaster and Emergency Medicine (Prof. Noboru Ishii)@
In the aspect of emergency medicine, we study on resuscitation for Cardiopulmonary Arrest on arrival, on pathophysiologic analysis and new therapeutic approach to traumatic and shock patients, and on improvement of Medical Control in prehospital emergency care. In the aspect of disaster medicine, in order to foster emergency medical doctors with global view, we make educational programs on disaster medicine in practical use, develop the system of disaster medical response in major disasters, and improve the assessment on the capacity of disaster medical response.
